I'm a 3D artist specialising in architectural CGI. It's my job to simulate reality. To this end I am learning about photography since my work is all about emulating the real world in an image. Studying how light, colours, textures work together in the real world helps me understand how to create them in a virtual one.

I've always wanted to do a photo a day for a year but rarely get passed January 3rd before I forget. So i've started early this time so I'm more at home with lugging about my DSLR every day.

I expect a lot of my photos will be more "damn! I haven't taken a photo today... erm.. SNAP.. meh, that'll do" but I'm hoping 2013 will be a more varied year than 2012 was for me and I may actually have some interesting pictures one day. who knows?
