My name is Kitty i am 63 years old and loving retirement, from my username you can see i love crafting, my favourites are knitting crocheting and sewing.  My mother taught me to crochet when i was a little girl, and she also taught me to sew,  I learnt on a Singer Treadle Machine sitting in my mothers bedroom in the winter i had to wear a coat as  there was no central heating in them days.  My teacher when i was 5 years old taught me to knit, her name was Mrs Koffman, years and  years later when i was married with children i was working in our local Wool Shop, a dream job for me and an elderly lady came in and i recognised her straight away as my old teacher.  i introduced myself and told she had taught me to knit, she said she remembered me, but i doubt that she did.  Nowadays i make and sell baby clothes on Facebook, that keeps me busy, so i hope you enjoy my photos. xx
