I started blipping many years ago, and have dropped in and out over the years. Joining Blip originally made me think more about what epitomises a day, or an experience, and how to show that in one image - a challenge I really enjoyed - not that I achieve that too often these days!
I found that becoming a parent has changed the way I take photographs, my focus changed a lot. I stopped taking photographs and instead I create albums. Coming back to blipfoto is a way to think about photography again!
My blip is not a family album. I want to use this space to record more generally aspects of the world I live in and my experiences.
These days I often use my phone to record images which means they are not always great quality. My 2018 resolution is to return to blip, to return to using my DSLR more often and to produce more thoughtful, interesting photos... lets see how it goes!
