I live in South East England with my husband, my son and daughter-in-law, and our one sweet little cat.

My other son lives near Hamburg, Germany, with his wife and their two young daughters. 

I'm retired from working as a children's counsellor and have been for some while now due to CFS/ME, and the covid pandemic has put a stop to my voluntary work with reluctant readers.

I like reading, especially science fiction, cycling, and crochet. I've learned a bit of clarinet and now I'm learning to play the piano and to speak German. My French is very rusty.
