Okay, in case you haven't noticed, I don't have much of a clue when it comes to taking pictures. I am much better at describing things in words than in pictures, or at least I hope so because then I wouldn't exactly make for a good writer. I do this to practice and to just have fun. My friend said I should do this, and I use it as a new, challenging way to express myself. I don't promise anything much with my pictures, except that I'm sure they have no real point to them. But then again, why do things need to have a point? Spontaneity is much more fun! I enjoy all of your comments and appreciate them dearly because they show me what I am doing right and what I should work on. I just hope you get the same kind of enjoyment as I get from my pictures. I'm going to keep working at it and hopefully provide some better pictures in the future, but until then, thanks for baring with me.
~After over a year, I think it's about time to revise this. I've learned more things about myself in the past year, and what I wrote before just doesn't seem to completely define me. Well, for starters I have become more attached to my camera. Though I have a different one now from when I started, it's still a camera. I find that I take it with me where ever I go. Blipfoto is very addicting. I find that the first thing I do when I turn on my computer is check out Blipfoto. Now, I'm constantly looking at the things around me in a new light. I can't look at something without thinking, "Wow, wouldn't that look so nice as a picture." Taking pictures has slowed me down a little so that I look for things in my everyday environment I never would have thought to look for before. I'm excited to keep taking pictures. I hope one day I can look back and say, "You know, I accomplished something wonderful." Blipfoto has been able to do all that for me. Thank you Blipfoto and all the other Blippers out there who encourage me to try.
The photo of me was taken by Classic Camera Collector. I think he did a fabulous job!
