For some reason blogging by itself has never really worked for me. I always felt like I had to write a long insightful entry to keep anyone who read it interested. Keeping a blog updated felt like a daunting task. I tried it and after about 40 entries over the course of a year, I let it go.
Shortly after I walked away from my blog, I picked up photography, and instantly it felt like home. It was so much easier to take a picture that enveloped how I felt than to just write about it.
I joined an on line photo gallery and started posting pictures with a few words almost daily. But I recently just noticed that my entries are seeming more and more like actual journal entries and not at all like pictures with only captions.
In the midst of all this my own personal life has been smeared in turmoil and confusion. Writing has always been a form of therapy for me, and now so is photography.
I was very lucky to find this site when I can now combine the two by using one picture a day with something I have to say.
This is my life in snippets, the way it feels to me.
