Whispers of childhood (Canterbury, Kent)
We've been living in Canterbury now for 5 months and there is still so much to explore. Our Sundays tend to consist of cooking, shopping or just pure laziness but today we decided to go for a late morning walk along Stour river from Wincheap Industrial Estate through to the city centre. It was a great walk and we found things we never knew were there, including some gorgeous old buildings, a park, beautiful gardens, the obvious graffiti under bridges and some random shops.
Of course I took pictures of the old buildings etc etc, but we've all seen images of the traditional Canterbury so thought that wouldn't be different enough for today's Blip. Instead I decided a shot of Whispers Toyshop's colourful window display in St Peters Street would look great and interesting. Unfortunately the shop was closed today so couldn't have a look inside but just from the window I can tell this is our kind of place! :-)
