Karma?
After a spectacular cooked breakfast, we got ready and hit the beach. Not for sun bathing - despite the brightness, there was a biting wind - but to walk, well, run the hound.
Lil had a fine old time, and I nearly posted a picture of her, tongue flapping in the wind, in the dunes; or one of her being surprised by the sea, as it broke over her back paws.
Girl had a really good run, but got her legs slightly damp. Just before this shot, she had been standing shouting at the waves. Clearly she had forgotten Kant's mantra of "Unconditional positive regard" and paid the price for her insolence.
Anyway, after a few more soakings, back to the car to change into clean dry clothes, whilst I fetched hot chocolates and muffins from the cafe.
Then home, tea is in the oven, Lil's crashed on a blanket on the sofa, Girl's in the bath, and I'm looking forward to a quiet evening, and half watching the football hoping Arsenal lose. I sort of like these almost mono shots, but am not quite convinced. Hmmm...
