President's Day

I spent the day with my daughter and gransons today, and it was a beautiful day in every way. The sun was shining, and we headed to the beach to hunt for fossils.

The boys had a great time, especially the youngest who really got into the whole fossil hunting thing. Every time he found a fossilized shell, he squeal, "Nani! I found another fossil!" Then he'd run over to me and put his fossil into my bag.

I was looking for dinosaur bone fossil and not having any luck. Then I stopped and tuned into the rocks asking any dino fossils who wanted to be shown off to the world to show themselves to me. The tide started coming in fast, so we headed back, and there was a fossil right on top of the rocks where I had already looked. Now it was my turn to squeal! I was so very excited.
