The Look of Love?

Ethan had a half day settling in session at nursery today. He looked rather bemused when I dropped him off at 8.30am. As for me, I managed to hold it together till I got to the car and then I blubbed the whole way home! However, I was soon feeling guilty when after about 1/2 hour of being "home alone" I realised it was actually quite nice to have some me time! I was surprised at how quickly the 4 hours went though and before I knew it I was heading back to the nursery to pick him up.

When I got there, he was walking up and down, holding on to some cupboards. As soon as he saw me he came crawling up to me, climbed on my lap and gave me what I'm sure was a big sloppy kiss! Thankfully no tears today! The staff told me he had had a long nap in a cot (and that it only took them 5 minutes to get him off to sleep! I'd love to know their secret)! He didn't like lunch though and refused fish pie and a sandwich but wolfed down a yoghurt! I think it might be because they sat him in a high chair and we don't really use ours now. They have low tables and chairs they're going to try him in next week instead.

After leaving the nursery, we headed to Almond Valley Heritage Centre where we were meeting Trulife and Floriana. They had great fun in the soft play and then we had a quick visit to see some of the farm animals, before they had to go home. The title of todays blip, refers to a comment Trulife made about Ethan in one of her recent blips! Looking at this picture, perhaps Flori really DOES think Ethan is the perfect guy!
