Green tears.

This has been a difficult day. The earthquake in Canterbury has dominated everything, yet as a teacher we were instructed to keep the students focussed by ignoring it. I guess it worked, learning definitely happened in my room today. Everyone I know has relatives or friends who have been affected by the earthquake, so I can now deal with that after school.
I had no inclination to take photographs today but finally just went outside and saw some 'tears' on some grass. It seemed fitting.
