George meaning and name origin
George \ge(or)-ge\ as a boy's name is pronounced jorj. It is of Greek origin, and the meaning of George is "farmer". Saint George, a knight who became the patron saint of England, achieved legendary status through the medieval story of his struggle with a fire-breathing dragon, symbolic of the devil. George was a royal name in England, and in America, George Washington made it as popular.
This little sign hangs outside my parents beach house. I think it fitting that the meaning of the name George is "farmer." Farmers are hard workers and so are my parents. They never seem to rest. My parents come from a long line of hard workers and have "I hope" passed it on to me. My parents mean the world to me and it is nice being here to enjoy some time together. My parents are best friends and they taught me how important that is in finding the perfect person to spend your life with. I think I did a pretty good job with that.
I was wanting to capture another sunset beach shot, but when I went down to the water my battery died. I was frustrated that I didn't have time to recharge before the sunset. I am happy that I had captured this earlier in the day. A little reminder of my parents and the amazing life that they gave me.
