Dawn Over the Canterbury Plains

Another massive day...up at 3.30am to get to woork and then the airport for the early flites... first flight delayed on wayhome so missed the connecting one so had to hang around wellington for an extra hour...Taxi driver from hell from the airport back to work...then an hour to drive home again...I'M officially SHATTERED! again!!!

This was taken just as the sun was rising over the Plains and as we flew over the Waimakariri river (a typical New Zealand 'braided' river due to the may channels)

to the right is a patch of fog and on the far left in the foothills is roughly where I live!

going to bed now before I fall asleep at the keyboard!
