THE GIRLS

These are the chickens we are looking after. G (!) had an idea for a blip with them but rehearsals did not go well this morning. Camera shy perhaps.

Egg number three went into the recipe for cheese scones, and they were delicious. Well, I got one, but I doubt I will see a second.

The chickens like to be let out of their house to have a mooch round before laying their eggs. When G collected them a little while later they were still warm. By the end of the week I think I will really, really, want my own chickens.

Boiled egg and soldiers are planned for Tuesday's breakfast as I am not going into work first thing.
