Boo!

Katie slept really well last night - woke briefly at 4, went to sleep in her bed until 6.30, bit of milk, she was a happy girly. She ate half a banana and almost a full slice of toast (a big breakfast for her) and hasnt needed any calpol. We had a lovely play at home for a while. She played boo, she took some photos whilst Mummy wasn't looking - see if you can guess the objects! Monkey was put in a whole host of clothes. He ended up wearing a pink and purple hooded dress and a purple coat (a Monkey doesnt want to get wet when going out in sleet).

We wrapped up warm and put on Katie's wellies for a spot of puddle jumping. She kept squealing and shouting 'splish splash' or 'jump' as she went. She did meet one huggggeee puddle that stopped her in her tracks - in her defence, I've seen smaller ponds. It didnt stop her for long though before she dared and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a drink and play in the play cafe. She troughed some fruit and bits of krispie cake, then spent ages sat on the counter building towers of jam with me and the assistant.

We did some more puddle jumping on the way home before stopping to buy some bits for lunch. Katie is obviously having an 'eating' day to catch up a bit, she ate most of a hot cross bun and a full fromage frais.

She's in bed now, building her reserves back up for our friend Vicki arriving midafternoon for a play and tea (and a good movie or two with Mummy when Katie goes to bed!)
