Birthday Boy

So what did you do on your Birthday?

Mrs L & I went to the Fife coast to a place called Ruddons Point that overlooks Largo Bay. A great spot for wintering ducks, grebes, divers, scoters and waders. It's about a mile walk in and once there we spent around two and a half hours in virtually the same spot scanning the sea and coast through binoculars and telescope. After the walk in we were reasonably warm, after two and a half hours of just sitting and standing we weren't - a perfect birthday day out - honest.

RCB's birthday present was his first Shag of the year - and he fell asleep on the way home! - the boy just can't take this level of excitement at his age.
