People, People and more People

Today has been so busy I only had a few minutes to duck out the front door to grab something.

I had been thinking early on.....

Where are all these people coming from?
Why is it that some days are sooooooo much busier than others?
Is it always this busy at this time of year and have I just forgotten just how busy it is?
Is it really possible to enjoy anything more than I'm going to enjoy a Magners cider after I finish at 8.30pm?

Ive got an answer for the last one, NO, but the others still have me confused.
