Mecca

Once again I find myself in London with work, for a meeting with jaybroek who sits within spitting distance from me in the Edinburgh office! Unfortunately I also have meetings tomorrow which means a first time away from home since little man was born. To say I crave being back at home is an understatement.

Still every cloud has a silver lining and a night spent in London also means a visit to Rough Trade East to put a dent into little man's inheritance (although I like to think of my music collection as a pretty fine legacy to leave the boy). The shop is full to the brim with quality music so naturally I came out with a pile of CDs in-hand. I'll get round to those in posts over the next few days, but for now be content with James Blake covering Joni Mitchell here which is a bit weak to be honest considering the emotional hit of the original.
