Up close and vicious

Very little opportunity to take photos today. I was working from home this morning so I could wait in for a courier delivery. The road was noisy as the garage for the house opposite was being demolished to make way for a new extension. The parcel eventually arrived at about 12.40 and I just had chance to venture into the garden before heading off to work.

I was inspired to look for our invading brambles as a subject having seen a blip from Inky Leaves earlier this week. Having tried many times to clear them, I knew that they had particularly vicious thorns. Sure enough, they were back and as spiky as ever. Perhaps we need to have a weekend attack on the garden soon.

The parcel was a new broadband modem (or a super hub according to Virgin Media). It is now installed and my photo uploaded in record time tonight.
