Indoor Plants

Worked form home today which was a blessing as it persisted down from dawn till dusk.

I must admit I shrieked a bit at the new BBC Scotland weather muppet (the old ones all appear to have left now to birth) when she declared that it had been a bright day. Obviously, she had only looked out the window of her Glasgow office and not bothered to put her years of meteorological training to use to try and even give an accurate account of what the day had held in terms of weather for the whole country.

Despite, by my own admission, being no good with indoor plants, was tempted at the weekend by a collection contained within a little lime green trug. The perfect accessory for the newly painted guava green loo. I am a sucker!

The blip is one 4 plants in the trug. No idea what it is at all, it has many buds and looking closely the flower is like a rose, however the leaves are long and cactus like, perhaps a variation of the christmas cactus?

So thats it for Wednesday I am afraid :) Time for a small midweek wine and Masterchef to look forward to!
