Oh we do like to be beside the seaside

It was chucking down with rain when we left Edinburgh for the beach at Gullane, well wrapped up and in need of some fresh air. The rain subsided and though it was pretty gloomy - this image was taken at around midday, not 6pm - we stayed dry. Apart from Kitty and Gigi, who each got a welly of seawater from the incoming tide.

This is one of our favourite places to come to and unlike high summer, we had it pretty much to ourselves.
