I insisted that Kitty, Gigi and Harvie help wash the car, which was in a disgusting state, inside and out. After filling a binbag with rubbish from the insde and flinging lots of water around, we had a shiny car and smiley children. They were each allowed to buy a treat from Margiotta by way of payment.
