A quiet corner

J finds a quiet corner amidst the hustle and bustle of The Caves for a bit of last minute sewing. Today was the get-in and tech rehearsal day. I got there in time for the unloading of the first van-load before ten in the morning and left a bit after six. I did have a bit of time off for lunch. Left before they'd completely finished to go and take a few shots of T's group's performance of 2 at the Forest Cafe. Lighting there was shockingly bad, even when they turned on the spotlights. And then for some reason they turned one of the two lights off for the show itself. Go figure! Anyway, back to The Cave tomorrow for more set-up, dress rehearsal and then the Poor Things show itself. Looking forward to it. There should be a small exhibition of the 'creative process' featuring some of E's inspirations and designs and a selection of my photographs. We are going to put them up in a small room off the main bar, where the audience will gather before the big doors are opened and the show begins. Hopefully the exhibition will give a bit of a taster for what is to come and whet the audience's appetite!
