Concentration

Ethan and I had a lazy morning today. We just pottered around the house and didn't get dressed till 11am! I then took Ethan for a walk to ensure he had a sleep before lunch, as I was meeting Missus B & Lucinda early afternoon and wanted to ensure Ethan had already napped by then.

We met them at The Almond Valley Heritage Centre as we both have membership for it and haven't been for ages. Lucinda was asleep when we got there so Ethan played by himself in the sandpit. It's the first time he has been in it since he was able to crawl and I was surprised he didn't move around more. He actually seemed more interested in watching the older children digging for bones (the sandpit is a mock archelogical dig), hence his very serious look here. I also took him on the trampoline. I stood him up and held his hands while I bounced with him - he laughed SO loudly - it was lovely to hear! He also went down the slide loads of times and I think he would have gone up and down it all day if I'd let him.

Lucinda had woken up by the time we went to the soft play area. It was quite busy at first but Ethan & Lucinda are hardcore and were the last two standing!

Ethan was clearly worn out by all that playing as he fell asleep in the car on the way home and carried on sleeping when I moved him into the pushchair and into our house. I think it's safe to say he had a great day!
