Sally Gillespie

Was at work today and noticed a booking for a guest by the name of Sally Gillespie. I thought "No it cant be, shes living in Scotland and hasnt been in New Zealand for years and years.". But sure enough it was her.

Sally is one of THE most unique people I have ever had the fortune to meet. I first met her in Dunedin about 15 years ago when she was walking the length of New Zealand for charity, she had set off with only her dog, Munroe, for company. Thank goodness Trev and the trusty sky blue Bedford van joined her otherwise she would still be at the side of the road just outside Invercargill Im sure.

She has the most infectious laugh and seems always to be happy and giggling, if there were more people like her in the world no doubt it would be a far, far better place. Scotland is lucky to have her back in its midst.
