Heart on a Stick

Mr Lif and i had a conversation last night which went something along the lines of.....

Me : Oh (in response to something on the telly) its Valentines day tomorrow

Him : Garummph, lot of commercialised nonsense <pause> You havent gone and got me something have you??? <paling visibly>

Me : Well I might have (did not mention the fact it was a cheapie card from the local shop) I will be disappointed if there is not even a card :)

To be honest it wouldnt have bothered me one way or the other.

Anyway, he must have had a wee think and when I got home there was a lovely bouquet of flowers and a card :) The bouquet had this little heart on a stick in it....which is perhaps nicer than what I would have put on a stick if not even a card had been purchased ;) <A JOKE by the way - Mr Lif is lovely to me every day, well apart, of course, when he is in the wrong>
