In Salutem Omnium - For the Safety of All

Today I visited the Shining Lights exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland. It celebrates all Scotland's lighthouses, and particularly the bicentenary of the Bell Rock - it's well worth a look.

Sometime ago I went along to the National Gallery's Turner exhibition, hoping to see his picture "The Bell Rock Lighthouse" - I was disappointed on that occasion. So I was delighted to see it in the Shining Lights exhibition today, a bit of a treat.

S & I went on to the Hard Rock Cafe later which seemed appropriate :)

I met someone who cast doubt on Cyclops claim to be related to the Lighthouse Stevensons, he said he just shared the same surname - cutting!
