Shadows & A Peeping Flare

Few days ago I finalized my India vacation plan and got the tickets booked for myself & parents.

Early morning when I checked my mailbox got an email from my Ticketing Agent saying the return flight by which we are suppose to come back is re-scheduled and American Airlines is not operating flight on that particular day. My ticket was fine because End to End whole reservation was made under same ticket#, but my parents ticket was divided in two parts Chicago <-> Delhi & Delhi <-> My Native place. Agent told me that because of this reschedule of flight American is going to assign seats on the next day flight and they'll move my whole itinerary by 1 day, I don't have any problem with that but since my parents ticket is divided in two parts I'll have to personally take care of moving their domestic travel date, which is gonna cost too much of extra bucks, Agent said American Airlines won't take care of that difference because it doesn't come under same ticket# also they are not ready to just change my Delhi <-> Chicago flight and keep MY native place <-> Delhi schedule intact.

I was annoyed with this first then as per her advice talked to American Airlines representative and explained whole scenario, lady was so polite and helpful, without asking anything any further she changed DELHI <-> Chicago travel date by 1 day. Now we got extra day and 1/2 in Delhi; Good excuse to catch-up with few friends there in Delhi & see some tourist attractions :)

Thanks a lot for sending sunshine, ICE has almost melted and most of the roads are clean now.
