Up Close and Shiny

Hollywood Cameras rocks the house! The guy in there, Eddie, knows everything! Today I went to talk to him about making the most of my 50mm lens for taking macro shots. I asked about a reversing ring and extension tubes and he said, ?How about close-up rings?? I had not heard of these little guys. Well Eddie pulls out a box and there before my eyes are treasures. So we started digging for a set of 52s. dig, dig, dig? no 52s but there were 55s.

Solution? How about a 52 to 55 step up ring? So I had to go to Pro Photo for that, but now I have a set of close up rings that make for some future fun.

This is just a quick test shot. Soon I will play!
