Life Goes On...

My friends have been commenting lately on how 'old' we're all getting...*sigh*

I spent the evening with an old friend last night and he mentioned he had been at a conference the week before when someone asked him if he had a family. He sort of laughed and said 'oh no, I'm only................26'. Wait.

We talked about it a lot last night because quite a few of my friends are getting married, divorced, pregnant, buying houses and moving in with their significant others. When does it happen that all these things just become the norm? I still appreciate the fact that I can come home and don't have any homework to do, or that no ones forcing me to tidy my room and that I can stay up as late as I want.

It's good growing up but my God it happens pretty damn suddenly.
