London Skyline

Just a short distance from the City but Whitechapel Road is quite a different world. I longed to go out for a wander with my camera, but had to make do with the view from the 5th floor. I had taken up my Pret Italian Prosciutto Artisan Baguette of course, to keep hunger at bay. And I'm now a dab hand at staving off boredom, but we won't go there. Just as well I wasn't taking the minutes.

So, another long day but I had just about enough energy to leg it down to the yacht club to catch up on the news and have a beer. There was no news. And I had only one beer.

And I came back to find a birthday invite behind the door! A 50th too! So nice to keep in with the young folks around here.
