Victoria's Secret...

One of the days off in Cape Town we decided to organize a wine tour in the Stellenbosch area just a few miles out of the city. I didnt realize the magnitude of the wine industry in SA. This area is home to nearly 180 different wineries.
Our guide picked us up at 9am and we didnt finish till about 5pm. We stopped at 4 different wineries throughout the full day of drinking. They dont mess around either - we tried about6-7 wines at each stop and they were not little tasters... half glasses with little time inbetween to breathe. And we couldnt pour it out... that would just be rude...
We tasted grapes off the vine, took tours of the facilities and drank amazing wine all day in some of the most beautiful country i have seen.
The kicker of the trip was that apparently our tour guide was the father of Candace Swanepoel - the famous South African Victoria Secret model. We googled her for the better part of the day trying to confirm these claims (discretely asking him questions about her dogs, mothers name etc). We are about 90% sure it was true - 100% sure in my heart....
This is def 1 thing i would do again if i ever go back - it was a great day.
