Malibu - Day 8

This was the pinnacle of our week of yummy breakfasts - Lemon ricotta pancakes, coffee, bacon. Oh - a bottle of Moet Chandon was opened up last night, so they made fabulous mimosas the next morning.

Since it was our last day in Malibu, we decided to have a slow morning and relax at the campsite, had some screwdrivers, then got ready to leave.

Drove into Venice for burgers and beer at Father's Office. Super tasty.

Strolled along Venice beach during sunset - UGH! It was littered with tons of dispensaries, shops, loud music and just some generally seedy characters. But the sunset was beautiful.

Finally we were off to LAX to catch our 7:30pm flight (by the way, it's a great time to fly -no lineups and an empty plane).

Got home, waited to get Willy, then didn't hit the hay until 2am!
