My recent purchases

I like nick-nacks and retro things, so my flat is littered with them. Here are two of my recent purchases - a solid walnut owl by Matt Pugh (currently named Mr Whippy, after the walnut-y confectionary my mum loved so much) and a Polaroid Land Camera (which needs some film, but still looks pretty on my shelf).

In the background is a little fabric toy robot which a friend gave me, who looks pretty shocked at being usurped|!
