Newark

Loved these doors when I saw them earlier. I didn't actually spot them, my brother did and suggested a blip. Only seconds earlier I'd suggested I blip him, so it was a bit 'saved by the bell' for him. Apologies that I've ended my Lincoln street series with a shot in Newark.....

Went to a little exhibition in Newark, three prison officers trying to raise money for Help for Heroes. The shots were really good and it was nice to get out and see Paul and of course Isaac.

Tomorrow I'm out with my cousin Craig who as I've mentioned before calls me 'fam' and 'blud'. He grew up in a smart detached property in a village called Snelland, but talks like a gangsta (not gangster, they had hats, respect and lived in the 20's whereas gangstas listen to unfathomable music, wear a lot of jewelry and use the words bitches and hoes to talk about women folk). He's a good lad but it's his 19th birthday and we are out with all his uni mates. I'm going to stick out like a shark in a swimming pool. A salivating shark probably as well given what passes for a dress code amongst todays uni age girls..

Been off work today so light on moans. I did bump into a genuine pikey earlier. We walked down the street and suddenly this guy walked out in front of us. he couldn't have been more pikey if he tried. Nicotine stained fingers with a roll up permanently welded to them, vanilla ice style haircut with a suspicious moustache, yellow polo shirt tucked into baggy stonewashed denim, topped off with black shoes. I may be generalising of course, he may have been a perfectly nice guy.
