A surprise

I haven't seen starlings at my back yard buffet for a long time, and suddenly they are here. It's definitely not a sign of spring...our weather is remarkably unspringlike! It must be that they like the new food I am putting in the feeders. At any rate, this happy bird was announcing his approval rating.

First day in a very long time that I haven't gone for a photo walk. I captured this blip and several others from my upstairs bedroom window. The ground was just too icy to risk a walk in the park.
