Furniture Collection

Every area in Barcelona has an assigned day when you can put out furniture/big pieces in the street for free collection. People who sell in the flea markets obviously know the days for all the areas and get in first to pick up anything interesting. People of the barrio do the same and it's amazing what some people chuck out! I still can't resist a look as we walk past the piles of stuff and when we came to Bcn 20 years ago I remember we got a few bits and bobs which served us well! This system seems to work well here. I remember a year ago in Scotland when we wanted to dispose of a couple of things and we had to pay for the pleasure.
