Memoirs of New South Wales
I was reminiscing about my time in Australia today. Watching a whole summer (British winter) of cricket in Australia and being on Aussie time hasn't helped quash my desire to go back some time soon. I think this image arguably typifies the time I spent living and "working" in Sydney. The song I listen to to reminisce is Alice Cooper's "Poison", which was a bit of an anthem for me and my work pals in the Leagues club just off Hyde Park we used to frequent after finishing on a Friday, or Thursday.... in fact most nights.
I was just messing around when I blipped this but thought it looked pretty cool when I added some film grain, the shadow of the bottle looks particularly neat I would say. Also, there is something extra special about this particular bottle.
"Don't bother shutting it, son, you won't be there long enough."
Freddie Truman to incoming Aussie batsman as he opened the gate on his way out to the crease at Lord's.
