Long Sunday Evening

Basically, I have always hated this time of year, but it at least means we are close to those first few days that come along in March/April when it begins to feel like Spring. However, sometimes very simple wintry situations look quite good in photographs, so maybe I am beginning to like it a little more.

This image encaptures pretty much exactly how I felt tonight walking back to the flat, a typical January Sunday, minus blue outside, and everything totally still and not looking like anything exciting is going to happen for quite some time, as you can see by the reflection of the wall in the canal. The lights above are actually the reflection of a tram in the water too, and this shot was taken pretty close to where Corrie filmed 'that scene'.

Am still enjoying blipping but I need to think harder about what to do at weekends, when I'm usually pretty busy, there's nothing worse than rushing to get something uploaded at the last minute, and I know some of my fans aren't impressed when I do this. I owe them more than that.

39 years since Bloody Sunday today, good to see that many of the families affected have some degree of closure now.
