Referred to in everyday life as Boo, mostly because it embarrasses him. He's not particularly fond of the camera, but since along with the car, we've spent a lot of money having it repaired he seemed more tolerant as I forced him into good light and made him let me capture him. I am so in love with this man. We went to this TERRIBLE sushi buffet last night, our reasons inexplicable but amusing to us. He got up from the table and I felt this wave of emotion. I've never known love like this until this man. I love living life, talking about life, discovering life and sorting through our goals for life together. He won't give me a puppy, but I have Arli, and those are baby steps.

I've decided to begin offering my amateur photography services as the rest of my part time job. I'm also going to offer cooking classes, small catering services and party planning. I'm working with a friend on sponsored guest blogs, so I've been diving into fashion. For some reason cooking, fashion, photography and writing feel cohesive to me. So you can follow the progress on the "professional" blog Trivialities. We're still sorting through the details, but both feel excited about the possibilities.

1) We sang Come Thou Fount in church today. I was tucked between Boo and LadyA, "Prone to wander Lord I feel it, Prone to leave the God I love. Here's my heart Lord take and seal it, seal it for thy courts above." Something about that song with the cello behind it makes my soul rest easy.
2) AM ran EIGHT MINUTES FASTER than her last 1/2 Marathon today in Austin. I love, love, love that AM and UK are kicking ass and taking names in the prime of their lives. I am so thankful for their health and presence in our lives. They inspire me daily and they are our rock. We have incredible parents.
3) Thankful for a day in the kitchen. Getting care packages together for the sisters-in-law and Occhi.
4) The improving condition of my muscle spasms. The days are for the most part bearable. Nights and mornings are rough, but i have a race in 21 days, so it's back to work tomorrow. PT twice a week is a HUGE blessing.
5) Life. It is a precious and wonderful thing. From beginning to end. My friend A told me today about a dear friend she lost and I am reminded that each breath is a gift that we are very lucky!
