Sunny winter afternoon

We had planned on going swimming at the "Y" this afternoon, but it was such a pretty day, with fairly mild temperatures, blue sky and sunshine, we decided we had to make the most of it, so we drove over to Miami Whitewater Forest and went walking on the Shaker Trace trail. The inner loop had obviously been cleared, whereas the outer loop was being left to the elements, so parts were still quite snowy, whilst others were slushy with the odd clear patches. Sunny days seem to have been few and far between this winter, so it felt good to be out enjoying the sunshine - it just lifts my spirits.
