Energise

Eldest beloved son is 22 tomorrow, so we spent the day in London with him. After a spell in Tate Modern, with him trying to help us appreciate some of the artwork, we walked across the Millennium Bridge towards a useful tube station. There is a superb juxtaposition of classic and ultra-modern architecture in this area, beguilingly illuminated.

Beam me up, Scottie!

(Also I managed to persuade the boys to spend an indulgent 10 minutes in Stanfords. Its not what it used to be - far more commercial and organised - but it brought back some happy memories.)
