Final dress rehearsal

This was the curtain call for the final dress rehearsal for "The Magic Flute" at Covent Garden this afternoon.

I wouldn't normally take photos in the auditorium but I looked round as they were taking their bows and all the others around me had their cameras out. As a blipper, what else could I do but join them !!!

Incidentally, we were right at the very top, up in the Upper Slips of the Amphitheatre, so close to the roof, and it was sheer magic....
