Lake in the mist

After a heavy frost overnight, the day became rather misty. I went for a walk round the lake at Branston Water Park and found that I more or less had it to myself.

Well, apart, that is, from the waterfowl. And after my silly mistake yesterday when I misidentified the wonderful Stratford Goose for a duck, I needed the practice.

RSPB Bird Watch 2012

None of the starlings turned up though.....
