Fealty's
Today didn't start well. I had said I would get up in time to run Sophie to school, but I was sooo tired... Anyhoo, that was me in the doghouse. Then I remembered I had a tyre needing some air that I noticed the previous evening. When I emerged this morning, I could see from the bedroom window that the tyre had almost fully deflated. I put the little weird spare tyre on and then got washed again and into my work gear before driving down to have the puncture repaired.
"That'll be £12 - I'll ring you when it's ready." Coffee time!
Twenty minutes later and "that tyre is unrepairable - a new one is £90, and you've a nail in the other back tyre. Do you want me to repair it?" £102!!
If it wasn't for the very smiley pleasant girl tyre-changer, I'd have spat my dummy out.
Somewhere between the £12 and the £102 conversation, I took this shot of Fealty's pub in Bangor's High St. It's a bit grotty but very popular. I don't think I've been inside it in the 25 years I've lived in Bangor.
It was a nice sunny morning, but that was all that was good about it :/
