Skiddaw

It was bitterly cold playing golf this morning! That sneaky East wind kept the temperature down. After a pot of tea and a bowl of soup I drove home. Before long, I stopped the car, wound down my window, then took this photo of Skiddaw. On the right you can see Ullock Pike. This is probably the best way to go up Skiddaw. There are wonderful views of Bassenthwaite Lake all the way up. You can see a small amount of fresh snow on Skiddaw. It would have been very cold indeed on the top today!
