Let's Hop The Atlantic

Watch the sunset with me

There were three possible options for today's blip.
I will describe the three pictures and thus describe my day.

Photo 1 - The snow is only half covering the sloping, angular roof of the ROM. The diamond. Cut out of an old, beautiful building some years ago to much objection, the Royal Ontario Museum is kind of the centre of Bloor Street and about a 4 minute walk from my room. I walked past on the quick walk I took on the break from load out - loading all of the set from the Bader Theatre back to the props room, as our three night run was over. Beautiful blue skies. Cold. Of course.

Photo 2 - A long passageway with white tiles and blockish, industrial lighting on the low ceiling. At the end, light floods stairs and little feet are visible ascending. Museum subway station - also the underpass back to Charles St W and the Vic campus side of the street. I really liked this one.

Photo 3 - Reflection of Emmanuel College with its dead ivy and imposing windows in the modern cut of the Bader Theatre window. Beautiful snowy bushes at the base. The Bader really is lovely.

This photo - Also one of quite a few taken from Robart's 13th floor. I wanted a person in it though, and seeing as Sam had commandeered the corner where the triangular shaped windows meet, she was a good subject. You can see the crane that was on the same level of us and made me shudder at the thought of someone being in the little booth. You can make out some of the skyscrapers behind her and also the incredible sunset, which was a brilliant red.
I'm not worried about the fact that this isn't the best one of the view, as I know, sadly, that I will have plenty more opportunity to have a Robart's photo another day.

Also, yesterday, Saturday, I didn't do anything at all, so no photo.
Stayed in all day in bed reading and pottering about, apart from going to dinner and opted out of the cast party.

Sunday night I walked home in -20 from the library and sent my essay off just in time. I worked on it for about 9 hours after arriving at Robart's after load out. I like pressure.
