Beauty and the Beast

So, today was not really a great day in one way, but in other ways, it was pretty great. Something kind of.... awful happened. But other stuff also happened. I saw so much beauty around me - from an adorable ray of sunshine who brightened my morning to a wonderful breakfast with my dear grandfather and sweet cousin. And then I saw this old building just sitting there, roadside, surrounded by snow. There is so much to look at and experience here. I'm glad for this day. Even though it started out really, super, extremely weird and somewhat traumatic.

5 things I'm grateful for today:
1) Friendly and very helpful neighbors
2) Quick thinking youngest cousin
3) Morgan.
4) Compassionate oldest cousin
5) The blip I posted a couple of days ago that made me smile so huge but now is a whole heck of a lot more meaningful and special (to me).
