Ebony and Ivory

H managed a half decent sleep despite her being ill, but we were all still tired today, so had a lazy day in the house. I feel so sorry for her as she has been ill most weeks since starting nursery in August. The longest she has gone without being ill was when were snowed in for 2 weeks in December! I keep telling myself it's one less cold she will have later and her immune system is building up!

We all went to Gran and Grandpa's for dinner and Uncle A, Auntie C and cousin L were there too. H is always on good form when she is at her grandparents' houses and today was no exception. Despite only feeling like carrots for dinner, she had great fun playing with cousin L, who is 2 months younger than her (nearly 14 months old). Cousin L was a joy tonight too, and I was amazed and the amount of babbling she does, as H is quite quiet in comparison. They both love Grandpa's piano, and we were treated to a duet from them this evening. I hope they will be great friends as they grow up.
