Hahnenkamm's downhill dreaming

Can you see the scar down his forehead? What you can't see how it also goes back into his hair and splits his head in two...the result of a rather nasty skiing injury many years ago.

I wasn't there (thankfully) but I do ski with him now and he has only two speeds - fast and stop. I must point out that he is an expert skier and this was a freak accident before we all wore helmets...however it does act as a nice reminder to the kids - to SLOW down!

Anyway I blipped him today as it is the Hahnenkamm's downhill in Kitzbuehel this weekend - his favourite event and one no doubt he skis in his mind whenever we get out there on the slopes!
